Cattle Baron's Ball 2010

Last night my hubby and I attended a ball benefiting the American Cancer Society. My good friend Erin helped coordinate this stellar event. Good Times for a Good Cause!

School Time!

Today marked the start of 2nd and 4th grade for my sweet girls. They were very excited and nervous at the same time. Everything turned out great! It is going to be a great year!













Kade wants to go too!! Only 1 more year and he will be off to Kindergarten!

Back to school Night 2010

The girls went to back to school night last night and were able to find out who there teachers were. Kiersten will have Mrs. Lamb for 4th grade and Karli will have Mrs. Bergsten. Both girls could not happier!!!! So is Mommy!

Branson Vacation PART 8-Para-sailing at TableRock

Last Friday when Manhattan was getting blown away by the 90 mph winds, we were enjoying some fun on Tablerock Lake. All three kiddos were able to go para-sailing (so much FUN!), The kids had quite an experience and we will definitely do it again!

Going to Branson would not be complete without attending one of the famous shows. Kiersten was able to choose the show, "Amazing Pets". Wow! Were we entertained......dogs, cats, birds, and pony's, ALL doing well....... Amazing things! The side acts were another story..............

Branson Vacation PART 5-SWIMMING OF COURSE

The Gillam's could not go on a vacation and NOT swim.....It is just who we are, and we LOVE every minute of it.

Branson Vacation PART 4-Silver Dollar City

We had a blast at Silver Dollar City-so much fun that we spent 2 full days there. Kade enjoyed the "broom making shop" and was also big enough for many of the roller coasters. His favorites were "Fire in the Hole" and the "Powder Keg"-that kid is not afraid of a roller coaster that goes 0-60 in 3 seconds. LUV IT!

Branson Vacation PART 3-American Idol UNLEASHED

We had a blast at the Hard Luck Cafe in Branson......WHY???Because Jason Yeager was our singing waiter. Jason was on American Idol Season 7. He was a GREAT guy...and serenaded our 9 year old perfectly (she was quite embarrassed)











Not sure who this scary singing dishwasher was......but Kade thought he was hysterical!

Branson Vacation PART 2-RIDING THE DUCKS

THE BRANSON DUCKS-they are a must!......O.K. not really...I rode these as a a kid and thought they were awesome (but that was before Nintendo DS, American Girls, and i-phone's). As a kid I thought they were GREAT....my kids....... (not so much)
B-O-R-E-D. In all seriousness-the DUCKS show you around Branson and are a GREAT way to tour the City.

Branson Vacation PART 1

We planned this trip last minute, and did not have an itinerary (I know.....trust me me it was definitely harder for me than you). But, we ended up having a GREAT time and fitting a TON of stuff in during our 4 day stay. I have to say...it was nice, not having to RUSH!

Our first stop Fantastic Caverns near Branson. Great History for the kids, and we all enjoyed the 60 degree cave!
