FIRST TRIP TO THE E.R.

Yep...You heard that right...we landed ourselves in the E.R. tonight..and yes you guessed it right...it was my little man, Kaden...
Here's the scoop! The girls had swimming lessons at the K-State Natatorium tonight and decided to lead by example and climb all over the bleachers...you know what I am talking about (for those of you that have also allowed your kids to do this!) Kade decided to climb and I stood along side of him and "of course" told him to "COME DOWN", did he listen.."NO"...he decided to run on the top bleacher the other way and lost his footing and literally fell to the ground. I was beside myself...of course. Thanks goodness a really nice Orthopedic Doc was insight and gave me some insight. He actually said he is lucky and go home with ice and Tylenol. Did I listen..."NO", I called Pediatrics and they told me to go to the E.R. So with all that said, I am monitoring my little guy tonight with a follow up visit tomorrow.
PRAYERS ARE WELCOMED!!!!

EASTER!!! REJOICE!!

He has Risen! He has Risen Indeed! What an awesome Message we heard at Church of the Ressurection this morning! It has been a surreal experience (these past 3 months) with my dad being retired as a Pastor, as this was the first Easter Sunday in 35 years, we did not have a "home church" while visiting my folks. We attended an AWESOME church called "COR" this morning and LOVED it!!!

Getting ready for the Easter Egg Hunt!!

Disney on Ice..Kansas City

Grandma, Kiersten, Karli and Mom were able to attend DISNEY ON ICE on Saturday. What a great performance it was. Of course all the Princess's Wishes came true...... With appearances from Belle, Cinderella, Mulan, Ariel, and Snow White, it could not have been a greater day for the girls. They were at perfect ages to enjoy and remember the show.

Karli's Pre-K Easter Egg hunt

Karli had a great time today at her Easter egg hunt at FUMC Preschool. Each student searched for 5 eggs with their name on it. Each egg contained goodies from their teachers, as well as one hard boiled egg they each colored in class.

Karli's Spring Dancenastics Routine

Karil had her Spring Dancenastics recital on Wednesday. The 3-5 year olds did a great job on their skill sets. They also had a great time dancing to "California Girls" by the Beach Boys.

Kiersten Spring Dancenastics Recital

The "Ariel" team at K.O. Boxing did an awesome job on their Spring recital this week. All of the girls skill sets have improved so much this year, and all have seemed to master their back bend kick overs and one handed cartwheels, not to mention their handstand kick overs. I am so proud of all of them for their accomplishments. The recital ended with Coach Lorissa giving the girls fun Spring Break bracelets, cookies, and frozen shaved ice drinks with umbrellas (it doesn't get any better for a 7 year old)

Kaden moves to a BIG BOY BED!!!

We moved Kade to a BIG BOY bed this week and he did great. Yes my little man will turn 2 at the end of this month and since he was crawling in and out of his crib at the drop of a hat, we thought it was time to move him. He is adjusting great and I think is even a little proud!

Finally a Beautilful day-70+ degrees

After Kiersten's B-Ball game our family headed to City Park for some fun in the sun...which we have not seen here in Manhattan since about October. The kids, especially Kade had a blast releasing some couped up energy.
