Hoop, Shoot, and Holler contest

Kiersten participated in a free throw contest at her school a few months back, and ended up being the overall female winner for the 5th and 6th graders. She then went on to compete with other 5th and 6th grade girls from other schools in our district. Kiersten shot free throws at the KSU woman's BB game last week, and became a finalist. She will now move on with 3 other girls and shoot free throws again at the KSU men's BB game on NYE. Congrats to my amazing little ball handler and great job Kiersten representing your school. We are so proud of you!

Eye Doctor visit

Kaden's kindergarten class needed an optometrist to come and talk with the students for an educational unit they are doing. I knew just who to call...my good friend, Christie Heptig. She not only came to speak with only 5 hours notice, but came completely set up with a cool 3-D eyeball and worksheets for the kids. Thanks Christie, everyone appreciated your willingness and "awesomeness"! I owe you one!

Holiday Home tour in Kansas City

My Mom and I took last Sunday afternoon to tour some beautiful homes in Lees Summit, MO. I was able to get some grerat decorating ideas, and am ready to start bringing Christmas to my house. ENJOY!

Gorgeous Fall walk

The girls and I took a Fall walk the other afternoon...destination Baskins Robbins. We are so fortunate to have some great trails near our house, and the trails just happen to lead to our favorite ice cream shop :) Yummy!!
