The little guy is back at soccer!

After last years soccer experience I wasn't sure the league would take him back-but another year makes a HUGE difference and Kade has improved a lot this year. He is quick on his feet and can run fast. Plus, he "kindof" understands the game a little more. GOOD TIMES with the little guy!

My Baby is going to Kindergarten!!!!!

Yep that's right my baby is headed to Kindergarten this fall. We had Kindergarten round up and Kade met all the teachers, and was able to see all 4 brand new classrooms at our school. He asks everyday, "Mom, when does Kindergarten start?". He is so excited.......Mom not so much (tear! tear!)

Jason Derulo in concert..........

I took the girls to the Jason Derulo concert Monday night! Fun times!!! Even if he only has a few good hits.

Horse Lessons-English style

The girls have begged me for year to do horse back riding lessons-we tried it out once or twice years ago, but other activities seemed to always take precedent-but this year we decided to try it one more time. The girls are riding at Dry Creek Stables, just north of Keats, and loving it! They are already asking when and how they can start leasing a horse!

Mom and Daughter weekend

After my race, Kiersten and I spent the weekend together at Crown center for a much needed Mother-Daughter trip. It is not often I get to have one on one time with my kids. We got pedicures together, went to the melting pot restaurant, shopped, and talked about girlie stuff. Fun Fun!

ROCK the Parkway Half Marathon

What a great day last Saturday was for a race. I used this half marathon as a training run for my upcoming marathon, and just went to run. The race was amazing, the course was beautiful (out and back on Ward Parkway), the weather was ideal, and I felt great. This combination made it a perfect day for running. I felt great and started out with the 1:45 pace group, but at mile 5, felt great and started to pull ahead of the group. I wanted to pace myself, for fear I would run out of steam. I continued to feel great, and picked up my pace. I was able to run negative splits (2nd half faster than 1st half), for the first time-Yippee!!! My garmin time was a 1:43:24-official race results are not posted yet (but I am hoping that this will be good enough for an age-group award)
