All schools were able to participate in the fitness challenge this past Saturday. The school with the most students receive money for their school. The Gillam Family was not about to miss this event. All 3 kiddo's ran in the race. Kiersten and Kade the 1/2 mile and Karli the 1 mile. They all did great, and we are anxiously awaiting the results. Way to go guys :)!!!

Run across America

http://www.therun.org/

I was able to to meet the Godby boys last night at the Running company See what they are doing below...these guys are stud's.

The Run: Moving Natural Medicine Forward, was founded to dramatize and publicize the urgent need for all Americans to take massive action and transform our nation’s health and spark a movement on Main Street America. Dr. Godby, nephew Jonas Ely, and two sons, Isaiah and Jeremiah, are taking drastic steps, of each running an average of 33 miles per day, a combined total of 13,500 miles - to bring attention to, and raise awareness how lifestyle choices and natural medicine is “the cure” to optimizing health.

Purple Power Play on Poyntz

Purple Power Play on Poyntz was held the Friday before the first KSU football game last week. What an awesome evening......Games, purple hair, KSU marching band, KSU girls BB players, fireworks and an awesome party at the Clark's law office to top off the evening (thanks Barry and Dina). What a great way to get pumped up for football season. GO CATS!

Cattle Barron Ball

Scott and I attended the Cattle Barron Ball last week. This auction directly benefits the American Cancer Society,in effort to help support cancer research, education, patient programs and services, as well as advocacy efforts. The Ball was held at the gorgeous Foote Ranch in the Flint Hills.
