Costume Sneak Peak for May recital

The girls received their May dance recital outfits this week, and were able to practice their performances in their respective costumes. Both girls were thrilled. Can't wait for May!

Last night Karli's school celebrated Dr. Suess's birthday with a reading night! We celebrated by eating yummy snacks (green eggs andham, and Cat in the Hat cupcakes), we also drew cat pictures, colored bookmarks, and read Dr. Suess of course. What FUN!!

Kiersten had a basketball game on Saturday night, and her Grandparent's came to watch. The pressure was mounting and she was nervous, but ended up with 8 points and a whole lot of confidence. WAY to go...Sissy!

Birthday Celebrations

I celebrated my birthday this past Friday, and what a great weekend we had. I woke up to massage coupons from my 8 year old, stating that Kiersten's salon would be open Friday evening after school.

Scott and I then were able to sneak away for a birthday dinner and a fundraiser for the "Boys and Girls Club" of Manhattan.

Lake Celebration!

Last weekend my running crew and I spent the night at my lake house to celebrate our birthdays and our long runs. We have recently started running 18+ miles to prepare us for our marathon next month...so we thought we needed a night off!

CONGRATS on your newest arival Jenni and Luke

Jenni and Luke welcomed baby boy Keaton Bergmann Olsen to he world on Sunday February 22nd. He weighed in at 6 pounds 11 ounces, and is healthy and just perfect as can be...not to mention extremely Handsome!

Happy 50th Judy!!!

My adorable running partner and friend turned 50 today! What a magnificant milestone. This woman is AMAZING...so many marathons under belt, 2 adorable children, a loving husband (so much to be thankful for!) Judy you are wonderful and I have enjoyed every painful run, (especially my 1st 11 miller many years ago you got me through)....never thought I could do it!...I am looking forward to many more memories and a GREAT time at the lake this weekend :-) Lots of Love......happy b-day!!!

KSU beats OSU

Today our family attended the KSU Women's Basketball game against OSU! What a close game it was! Of course the Wildcats ended with a VICTORY by 8 points, and we were thrilled. The girls cheered for the CATS at halftime, and then were able to get a few autographs by "Willie" the Wildcat himself!

40th Birthday Parties ANYONE?????

Scott and I attended 3-40th Birthday Bash's last night, and what fun it was! Our neighbor Shon, and friends Scott and Carrie all turned the BIG 4-0 this year, so what a GREAT way to celebrate and combine the FUN!

Valentine Party's Complete!

Although I absolutely LOVE planning the Kindergarten room parties. This week was exhausting, as all my kids got the flu bug, so trying to work these parties in-between sickness was no picnic. But all in all it was refreshing to witness those sweet 5 and 6 year olds during their Valentine party. I love this age!

Valentine's week is upon us

Valentine's week is upon us, and the Gillam kids (and mom) have been busy creating that "perfect" valentine. The girls turned their sweetheart boxes into ipod's for their classmate's, and Kaden made little shovels that said "I dig you". We also made LOTS of treats for their classroom parties this week! Mom is exhausted!

A Dress the Heart Fundraiser

Scott & I attended the "A Dress the Heart" fundraiser for the Mercy Regional Medical Center heart foundation last night. A fun time was had by all!

A Fun Weekend!

This past weekend we ran to Kansas City and hooked up with our good friends Cheri and Mark.  We all needed a night off and had fun catching up!
