My perfect Mother's Day!

My perfect Mother's Day was.....a day at the lake. When Scott asked what I wanted to do. It was not hard to come up with something. A lazy Sunday at the cabin with my 3 little blessings. What a treasure it is to be a mother!

Brownie Induction

Our weekend continued...with my little "Daisy" getting baked into a Brownie on Friday night. Her Daisy troop were all promoted to Girl Scout Brownies and presented with certificates, cute little blue jeans purses (Ms. Monique made), and they also gave their Mommies hand-made honey butter! Congratulations Karli!

Busy Weekend!

As the school year is about to come to an year...there are many activities that seem to happen all at once. On Friday Karli had her Kindergarten "Months of the Year" music performance at school, as well as a farewell party for their class intern. The class surprised her with a potted plant with Gerber daisies, hand written signatures and pictures from the kids. Good-Bye Miss Clare Stump...the kids will miss you!

80's Spirit Day at School today!

Today it was 80's Spirit day at the girl's school today. We had a blast dressing Kiersten up...and oh how it brought back so many memories! I had to look up an old picture of me in 1988----all I can say is I am not to excited this era is trying to make a comeback. Have you seen the newest styles out there for our kids...no thanks!

Boys will be BOYZ!

Kaden and I had a great day today....Library....Mc Donalds, and the Insect zoo and Butterfly gardens. At the end of the day, the boys found the alluring fountain, and there was NO stopping them. Berkley and Kaden had an absolute blast splashing in the water.

Dance Recital

The girls had their much anticipated dance recital on Sunday. They performed in three numbers and did fantastic! It is a joy to see their improvements from the previous year. Great job Kiersten and Karli

Mercy Wild Run

The kids ran in the Mercy Wild run fun this morning, while I volunteered at the finish line. It was a lot of fun until Kade kicked down all the orange cones during the obstacle course and then proceeded to skin his knee.....and I thought he had a chance to place!!!!

K-State Powercat Auction

Scott and I attended the K-State powercat auction last night. This event is K-State's Athletic Department’s largest fund-raiser, earning nearly $320,000 in 2008; all proceeds go directly to the Ahearn Scholarship Fund to provide scholarship assistance to K-State’s 350 student-athletes

Our last Day in Mexico

It is sad that this wonderful vacation has to come to an end, but we had a wonderful time and are so grateful to Scott's parents for watching our children while we were gone. Our last day was unprecedented, as we met up with about 8 Kansas City couples and had a blast!

GO! St. Louis Marathon Pics

Aimee and I completed the GO! St.Louis marathon today, and it was AWESOME! We both acheived P.R.'s, and all in a constant downpour of rain. Yes it literally rained the entire race, but we still think St. Louis is Beautiful!
