Candy..Candy..and more candy. My little man has discovered Halloween..thanks to the KSU Union Homecoming Carnival tonight!

more pumpkin patch..........

Karli's Kindergarten class ventured out to the pumpkin patch again on Wednesday. It was pretty muddy (hence the boots), but the pumpkins were still awesome and lit up those kiddo's eyes.

Fun Treat-Topper Idea

I finally figured out this digital scrap-booking thing. It is so much fun, I am not sure how to stop. I came upon this cute treat topper for Halloween and just had to share.

more Fall fun....................

I love Fall!

Fall is my favorite time of year, not only does Halloween come around, but the weather always gets so pleasant here in Kansas. I love the fall walks, the pumpkin patches, the apple cider, the pumpkin carvings, and of course the beautiful fall leaves. My family decided to embark today on a few fall activities, one being a nature walk and the other the Salina refuge. I could have taken a hundred shots, but here are some of my favorites

Halloween Fun!

As usual..my group of friends are AWESOME and pulled off a very fun and and quite amusing costume party last night. It felt a bit early for Halloween, but we didn't seem to mind! All in all I think a tradition has been formed! Thanks Keely!

Reflections of my Uncle.......

My Uncle's funeral was so awesome this weekend. Most of you are probably like "WHAT is she talking about!" It was a true celebration and reminder of a life lived to the fullest. It was also a reminder of why we are here on earth for this very short time! God has given us this time on earth, but our ultimate reward is so much more. My hope is that everyone can find that treasure within their clay pot, which is just a vessel and nothing more.
As I reflect on my Uncle's life of 57 years, and his bride of 25 years, and his sweet daughter of 18 years. I am reminded of how little time we have here on earth...and I am not about to waste it. It's time to focus on the PRIZE...I know my uncle is glad he did!

As I looked death right in the eye, it is amazing to me that there are still unbelievers!!!!!!! If one doesn't believe than why are we here?????

Kiersten's Par-TAY

Kiersten's 8th Birthday was a blast. We embarked on a scavenger hunt throughout Manhattan, all while riding in this first class vehicle below. The girls had a blast, and totally thought they were diva's!

This awesome cake was made by Karen Avery with "Creative Cakes and Cookies"...It was truly the BEST cake I have had in Manhattan!

Happy 8th Birthday Kiersten

Today is my sweet girl's 8th birthday. But our birthday fun started yesterday with Bat cupcakes to school.
Seriously...many of you may have seen this fun cupcake idea in a magazine. Well, I tried to attempt it....and yeah, I will never do it again. Enough Said@! and a few homemade doughnuts to start my daughter's morning....I didn't say I actually ate them. But I do have to admit, this was my 1st attempt at deep fryin and will be my absolutely last. I see no reason to deep fry anything..it is so nutrition-less and makes your house stink, but hopefully a fun memory!
