KSU-OU Homecomig game

Friends from KC came up for the game this past weekend. Although we did not keep our undefeated status, we had a great time tailgating and hanging out at the stadium!

Homecoming "Trick or Treat"

Each year our community and KSU does a homecoming parade and a business "trick or treat". Kade had fun gathering candy and heckling the sorority girls!

My Halloween SPIN class

LOVE LOVE LOVE these ladies in my Friday morning SPIN class. We rode to all Halloween songs and did a trivia contest this week. I am completely out of my element in my husband's 70's costume-and definitely do not think polyester is my fabric of choice. But, we all had a few laughs and a lot of fun! Thanks ladies for all your hard efforts put forth in class.

BODYPUMP 79 Launch at Max Fitness

We showcased our new Les Mills tracks at the gym last night and had so much fun. Not only did we have a hard core workout with sweet new music, but we were able to incorporate some Halloween FUN as well.

Red HOTS Volleyball

Kiersten's Volley Team did great this year, with only 2 losses. Thanks to Ned Ritherson, who led these girls and taught them some great fundamentals.

Karli's 1st Horse Show

Karli participated in her 1st horse show at the Topeka Expocenter this past Saturday. WOW what a neat experience. We are completle "newbies" at this equine stuff. Karli has been riding for about 7 months now, and her trainer thought she would be ready for an 18 inch jumping class. She did awesome. She had to learn 3 courses upon arrival and participated in 3 jumping events. Great job Kar Kar!!

What an AWESOME night! These girls We celebrated the girls birthdays with pizza, cake, pinata's, scavenger hunt, costume contest, and dance off!




The girls birthdays are about 5 weeks apart...they are also only 25 months apart in age. So, this year we decided to celebrate a dual birthday and incorporate a Halloween themed party. Last night the festivities began with 23 girls, ages 8-12, and one brother (age 5-who we course could not forget)

Jack-O-Lantern Decorating at 4H

What a fun week!! The kids had a 4H meeting on Thursday and had a fun lesson with fondant. We made rice crispy treats shaped like pumpkins, and then they rolled fondant and cut out shapes for faces. Mom learned some fondant lessons as well. HAPPY FALL!!

AMAZING WEEKEND!

Ran the K.C Half marathon with Deb on Saturday (yes....that was only 6 days POST marathon for me). I felt great. But, more than that...it was pure JOY to be there for Deb on her first half. She was hoping for a 2:20, but ended up running a 2:15 (so AWESOME, and I can't wait til our next one).

After the race...the family headed to Deanna Rose Farmstead for fun, and then to visit my 91 year Grandma. GOOD TIMES!
